We have finalised the details for our school uniforms. Our uniforms will be provided by Teeny Wear, 325 High Road, Harrow Weald, HA3 5EQ Tel: 020 8863 3892 www.teenywear.co.uk. Uniforms will be available in two weeks time so please visit the school website for further details. Our children who will be starting Year 3 next year (juniors) will be required to wear a V neck jumper, shirt/blouse and a tie (for the boys). There will also be an optional blazer for pupils in Year 3. Further details will be available on the Teeny Wear website in a few weeks. Existing parents who have already purchased their child's uniform from School Wear for Less should continue to utilise this uniform until you are ready to purchase our new Year 3 uniform.

Mother's Day Assembly: Thank you to all of you who attended the Mother's Day Assembly on Friday 8th April 2011. Everyone joined the performance.
Shenley Primary School: Six Year 2 pupils from Shenley Primary School came to visit us on Thursday 7th April 2011. Pupils led learning and assessment for learning was the focus of the day.
Gurukala School: Fourteen pupils from the Gurukula School at Bhaktivedanta Manor visited us on Wednesday 30th March 2011. Our Year 1 and 2 pupils enjoyed sharing their knowledge and understanding of Lord Caitanya, reflecting on His mission and engaging in kirtan together. Our Year 2 pupils supported the younger guests in using the adventure playground and when taking prasadam.
Easter Assembly: Keith Terring, a Priest from Camrose Church, held an interactive Easter assembly on Tuesday 29th March 2011. It inspired deep questioning about the similarities and differences between Christianity, Hinduism and Vaisnavism and the importance of humility, tolerance, love and sacrifice.
Abhishek: Abhishek was on Friday 18th March 2011. The children celebrated the day with a feast for lunch celebrating Lord Caitanya's favourite foods.

1st March - St David's Day is celebrated in Wales and by Welsh people throughout the world on 1st March. Saint David is the patron saint of Wales. He was a Celtic monk who lived in the 6th Century and was Archbishop of Wales. 8th March - Shrove Tuesday & Pancake Day. 9th March - Ash Wednesday 19th March - Gaura Purnima
As part of our R.E. curriculum pupils have learnt about the importance of Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday and Lent in the Christian calendar. Our cooks Mr. Edwards and Mrs. Rao prepared delicious pancakes for the pupils who felt inspired to find out more about the special day. |
